Admission

Exhibition gallery and art zone: adults and university students 200 yen, school children 100 yen. Learning programme: adults 800 yen, junior high and high school 700 yen, elementary 400 yen. The entrance, plaza and 2nd-floor viewing deck are free.

Getting there

Highway bus from Sendai (Miyako Sendai Highway Bus Center, stop 40, west exit) to BRT Shizugawa Station, about 1 h 40 min. By rail, change to the BRT at JR Yanaizu Station (about 2 h 30 min). By car, about 1 h 30 min from Sendai-Minami IC to Shizugawa IC on the Sanriku Expressway.

Parking

All car parks are free and cannot be reserved: north (memorial side) about 50 cars and 7 large vehicles; south (shopping side) about 170 cars and 9 large vehicles; 3 accessible spaces on each side.
