During the blossom period only, a viewing fee of 500 yen (free for junior high and younger; no group discount) — in 2026, Apr 3-15. At other times you can visit freely.

JR Ban-etsu East Line from Koriyama (platform 6) to Miharu Station, about 13 min. From Miharu Station to the tree by taxi about 2,600-3,000 yen one way. In the blossom season temporary buses run from the station (in 2026 until Apr 12; the light-up bus was 500 yen for adults).

During the blossom period only, the Takizakura car park (850 spaces, coaches OK) is free. Car navigation cannot find the car park by street number; follow the signs. Accessible parking is available only in the blossom season (tell the guard).
