Kurusu no Umi (Cross-shaped Sea)
A huge reef split by wave erosion over about 200 m east-west and 220 m north-south, which looks like a cross ("kurusu") from above. When the waves are calm the cross can be seen clearly, with the deep blue Pacific beyond. A bell stands at the viewpoint, and it is about 3 minutes by car from Umagase.
