One of Japan's three great gardens and a Special Place of Scenic Beauty, a vast strolling garden built over many years by the lords of the Kaga domain, beside Kanazawa Castle; cherry blossoms, green, autumn leaves and the winter "yukitsuri" snow ropes draw visitors all year.
