Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art
A museum showing masterpieces of old Kutani ware, treasures handed down in the Maeda family of the Kaga domain, and Japanese painting, Western painting, sculpture and crafts centred on Ishikawa artists. The National Treasure "Pheasant-shaped Incense Burner" by Nonomura Ninsei is a must-see; the entrance hall has a cafe produced by pastry chef Tsujiguchi Hironobu.
