Kanazawa Station (Tsuzumi Gate and Motenashi Dome)
The Motenashi Dome at the Kenrokuen exit of Kanazawa Station was built on the idea of "offering an umbrella to people getting off the train", as it often rains and snows in Kanazawa, and the 13.7 m Tsuzumi Gate is modelled on the drums used in Noh. The station has been chosen as one of the 14 most beautiful stations in the world, and the gate is lit up from sunset until midnight.
