Ame no Tawaraya (Traditional Candy Shop)
Founded about 200 years ago, the candy shop with the longest history in Kanazawa. Its candy is made only from carefully selected domestic rice and barley, using clear underground water from Mt. Haku; the main shop building is a designated preserved building of Kanazawa City, and you can try filling a jar with "jiro-ame" syrup candy scooped with bamboo chopsticks.
