Admission

Adults 600 yen, school students 300 yen, preschool free (no booking needed). Groups of 20+: 480 / 240 yen (booking required). 20% off with an Aquamarine Fukushima ticket or a local pro-sports ticket, among other discounts. Reduced admission for holders of a disability certificate (physical, intellectual or mental); see the museum's discount page for details.

Getting there

Limited express Hitachi to Futaba Station: about 3 h 10 min from Tokyo, 1 h 20 min from Sendai. From the station about 2 km (25 min on foot) or 5-6 min by the Futaba town shuttle bus. Car navigation may not find the museum by its phone number; search by the address (39 Takata, Nakano, Futaba-machi). About 10 min by car from Joban-Futaba IC.
