Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha
The head shrine of over 1,300 Sengen shrines, worshipping Mt. Fuji itself; its vermilion two-storey "Sengen-zukuri" main hall was donated by Tokugawa Ieyasu, and pilgrims purified themselves in the Wakutama-ike spring before climbing.
