- Getting there
Miyagi Kotsu bus from bus stop 8 at the west exit of JR Sendai Station, bound for Akiu Otaki (Saturdays and holidays only). Or Sendai City bus from JR Ayashi Station stop 2 (Akiu Onsen / Futakuchi line). From the main car park it is 5-10 min on foot to the viewing platform and 20-30 min to the basin.
