A museum of about 5,500 traditional kokeshi dolls and wooden toys in Togatta Onsen, where you can paint your own kokeshi and watch a craftsman turn one on the lathe.

Adults 350 yen, elementary and junior high 200 yen, preschool free (groups of 20+: 300 / 150 yen). The shop alone is free to visit.

Highway bus from stop 33 in front of Sendai Station (70 min), then 10 min on foot from the "Togatta Onsen" bus stop. By car about 25 min from Murata IC or Shiroishi IC.
