- Getting there
To JR Onuma-Koen Station: about 30 min by Hokuto limited express from Hakodate (about 50 min by local train) or about 10 min from Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto. From the station, about 5 min on foot to the park plaza entrance (boat pier): with the station behind you, pass Numa-no-Ya on the left, turn left at the lights and walk about 400 m. From Hakodate Airport, the Onuma Kotsu shuttle bus to Onuma-Koen takes about 70 min. By car, about 30 min from Hakodate Airport or 40 min from Hakodate Station.
