The symbol of Takahama, popular for climbing and called "Wakasa Fuji" for its beautiful shape. It has two peaks, the east peak (693 m) and the west peak (692 m), and its shape changes depending on where you see it from. The sunset over Mt. Aoba seen from Takahama is one of Japan's 100 best sunsets.
