On the cliff-lined Kosode coast, the "northernmost ama divers", made famous by the drama Amachan, give free-diving demonstrations on weekends and holidays from July to September.

The centre is open 9:00-17:00 according to Iwate Tabi; the Kuji tourism association page says 9:00-16:30. Diving demonstrations are usually on weekends and holidays from July to September.
