Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel
One of Japan's three great gorges, viewed from a 750 m tunnel ending in a mirror-like pool of water, part of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field; a round trip takes 40 minutes to an hour.

About 25 minutes by car from Shiozawa-Ishiuchi IC via Route 353; about 25 minutes by express bus from JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station to Kiyotsukyo-iriguchi, then about 30 minutes on foot.

Free: car parks 1-3 hold 45, 50 and 60 cars, plus 7 coaches. Car park 1 is closed from 18:00 to 7:00; no sleeping in cars.
