Japan Rural Toy Museum
Known as "gangukan", a museum of folk toys opened in 1967 in the Bikan district. It holds about 10,000 regional toys made across Japan from the Edo to the Showa period. The grounds also have a toy and goods shop, the "Plus One Gallery" for craft and art exhibitions mainly by Okayama artists, and "Side Terrace" offering everyday tableware including Kurashiki glass.
