Admission

Permanent exhibition: adults 550 yen, high school and university students 200 yen (groups of 10+: 440 / 160 yen). Free for elementary and junior high students, people 65+, and people with disabilities and their companions (show proof; disability-certificate apps accepted). High school students are also free in July-August and on Saturdays. Combined ticket with the special exhibition (until October 18, 2026): 800 yen for adults.

Getting there

From Abashiri Station or the Abashiri bus terminal, about 10-15 min: the Abashiri Bus sightseeing loop (420 yen from the station) stops in front of the museum. A taxi from Abashiri Station costs about 1,700 yen (2,000 yen in winter). About 17 km (under 30 min) by car from Memanbetsu Airport.
