Gunma Safari Park
A safari park where lions, tigers, rhinos, zebras and giraffes roam free, seen from a tour bus or your own car; it is the only place in Japan showing Sumatran elephants, and the feeding bus is popular.

Adults (high school and up) 3,200 yen, children (3 to junior high) 1,700 yen, 65+ 2,400 yen (ID required). No booking needed.

Take the Joshin Line from JR Takasaki Station to Joshu-Tomioka, then 15 minutes by taxi. From August 1 to September 27, 2026, a free shuttle bus runs from Joshu-Tomioka Station (6 round trips on weekdays, 8 on weekends and holidays).
