Getting there

By car: about 45 min from Asahikawa Airport via Route 237; about 2.5 hours from New Chitose Airport or Sapporo. By bus: Furano Bus "Lavender" to Nakafurano (1 h 25 min from Asahikawa Station, 48 min from Asahikawa Airport, 12 min from Furano Station), then 25 min on foot or 5 min by taxi. By train: JR Furano Line to Nakafurano Station, 25 min on foot. The seasonal Lavender Batake Station (7 min on foot) is served only by the Norokko train (its last 2026 running day was September 23).

Parking

About 500 car and 30 bus spaces, plus a few accessible spaces; free. Usable only during opening hours; no sleeping in vehicles. Do not park on the road or in the bus parking.
