Adults 1,000 yen; children (junior high and under) free; groups of 25+ 900 yen. Asahikawa residents 700 yen (groups 600). Free for holders of a physical, intellectual or mental disability certificate (Mirairo ID accepted), people certified as needing care or support, and one carer (two if needed), among others (show proof at the ticket window). From April 29, 2027, adults 1,400 yen (groups 1,300).

From Asahikawa Station: bus nos. 41/47 (Asahikawa Denki Kido, stop 6 at the Bus Touch terminal), about 40 min, every 30 min, adults 670 yen; about 30 min by car (taxi about 3,500 yen). From Asahikawa Airport: bus no. 78 runs once a day each way on weekends and holidays in the summer season (about 35 min, 840 yen); about 25 min by car. About 20 min from Asahikawa-Kita IC. From Sapporo about 2 hours by car, or 1.5 hours by JR to Asahikawa.

Free car parks: about 200 spaces at the main gate and 300 at the east gate (with spaces for people who need them and bus parking). Private free or paid (max 500 yen a day) car parks near the main and west gates add about 1,100 spaces.

Cashless payment is accepted at the ticket window and machines (brands are shown as images). Web and convenience-store tickets are sold for the 1,000-yen adult ticket only.

Free loan of 24 wheelchairs (4 power-assisted), 3 electric carts and 70 strollers (summer season only; first come, first served). Accessible toilets (ostomate-ready) around the zoo; 4 nursing rooms. Assistance dogs are welcome except in some areas.
