Opening hours

The fishing pond in Appi no Mori is open 10:00-16:00 (last entry 15:30). In 2026 it opened on weekends and holidays from 29 Apr to 12 Jul, daily from 18 Jul to 30 Aug, and on weekends and holidays from 5 to 23 Sep (the 2026 season has ended). No booking needed.

Getting there

A shuttle bus for hotel guests links Morioka Station (west exit) and ANA Crowne Plaza Resort Appi Kogen in about 1 hr 10 min (adults 2,000 yen one way; book by 23:59 the day before; 1 Apr-4 Dec 2026).
